It goes from the vacuum pump (on the driver side of the engine), snakes around to the back of the block/intake manifold area with some hard lines and then comes up front to the turbo. If it still appears attached on the turbo, unplug it with the car idling and see if it's pulling vacuum.

Vacuum to the servo is created by an camshaft driven pump, it's on the right side of the head (as you look under the bonnet) If this has failed you won't get any assistance but things like the turbo actuator won't operate correctly as well

Hi guys .My car is 2013 focus tit x 1lt ecoboost, and have fitted the electric coolant pump that comes on when engine is switched off.Took it to local ford dealers to have it programmed to P.C.M. and was told it could not be done due to being blocked by software installed on clutch slip software recall a few months ago.
Hi to all, I have a 2015 Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost, it has done 127 000km with no problems, and then the curse hit me. I have done a complete rebuild on the engine, which is still running smoothly, bought two second hand motors and out of three emerged one working as new motor.

JW1982. The 1.0 ECOboost has a vacuum operated wastegate that is powered by an engine driven vacuum pump and controlled by an electronic control valve. The wastegate itself can easily be checked by applying vacuum to the hose pillar of the wastegate (for example with a large syringe).
